If you don’t fancy installing R
on your computer — for whatever reason — but still want to code in R
, there is another way: you can use Google’s Colab instead. Simply click on the following link to get going:

You will, of course, need a Google account.
There are many benefits to using Google Colab; mainly
- that you can share your code with others as you would a Google Document or Google Sheet;
- that you get a glimpse of Google’s computing power;
- that it’s free.
This is a great way to get students to code and share their code with you.
